Delicately sweetened, our spread is made from ripe, tart apples and spiced with a blend of aromatic cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. Thicker than applesauce, apple butter is the result of cooking apples very slowly and just until their natural sugars caramelize and become a rich and smooth-as-butter spread.
Slowly simmered this spread is perfect for warm biscuits, smashing on raisin toast and outstanding on waffles. Also great in a grilled cheese sandwich, and on meats such as short ribs, pork loin, pork chops and especially good when making Apple Butter Bacon Wrapped Shrimp!
